Seniors Hannah Kos and Azoria Davis had 13 and 11 kills, respectively. Senior Brenda Reynaga recorded a match-best 24 digs, the eighth time she has finished with 20-or-more digs in a match this season.

Trailing 2-1 in the match, Siena evened the contest with a 26-24 victory in a fourth set that the Saints break a 24-24 deadlock with a kill and a block to post the two-point victory and force a fifth and decisive set.

With the score tied at 4-4 in the fifth set, a kill by Wire ignited a 7-1 run that gave the Saints an 11-5 advantage. Canisius responded with three unanswered points to pull with three, 11-8, but Siena closed the match by scoring four of the final five points to post a 15-9 victory and win the match.

Earlier in the match, Canisius posted a 25-21 victory in the opening set before Siena used a late rally to claim the second set, 25-21, and even the match at 1-1.

The third set saw Isroff post a .778 hitting percentage, recording seven of Canisius' 18 total kills in the frame, to spark the Griffs to a 25-21 victory and a 2-1 lead in the match. Canisus hit a match-high .400 during the third set, recording 18 kills and just two errors in 40 total swings, setting the stage for the Saints come-from-behind victory.
