In the season opener for both programs, Canisius opened the scoring in the 19th minute as senior Kyle Pollard found a streaking Miller at the top of the box, where he slotted the ball into the bottom left corner of the net for his fifth career tally.

Canisius' second goal came in the 60th minute from Henao as he headed home a cross from Baumslag to put the Griffs up a pair.

Baumslag closed out the scoring in the 76th minute with his first collegiate tally to determine the 3-0 margin of victory.
