He tied for 24th in the field with eight other golfers with his three-round tally of 216, which matches his career-best score for a 54-hole event. Sophomore Mikey Takas shot 73 on Wednesday in the final round to finish with a tournament score of 221, which tied him for 51st.

Host GCU won the team title with a three-round score of 840, which was 12-under par for the event. New Mexico State (853), Pacific (854), Drake (855) and Cal State Fullerton (861) rounded out the top-five entries in the team portion of the tournament.
