Canisius Athletics Partners with Ellicottville Brewing Company for an Exciting New IPA

On Thursday, the Canisius athletic department announced its new partnership with the Ellicottville Brewing Company, and the release of the new EBC X Canisius Fan Zone IPA.

"This delicious, refreshing IPA is part of an effort to bring Golden Griffins together and I am excited for our fans to purchase EBC X Canisius Fan Zone IPA in their favorite beer store," Canisius assistant athletic director for revenue generation and fan engagement Mike Kochczynski said.

A large component of the partnership will be to elevate the game day experience within the Koessler Athletic Center. Canisius Fan Zone IPA will also be available at all home Canisius men's basketball games, as well as other select Canisius events, and 4-packs are on sale now at Wegmans, Tops Friendly Markets, all Buffalo-based Consumers Beverage locations and the Ellicottville Brewing Company Online Store.

"We will rebrand the existing 'Griffins Den' at the Koessler Athletic Center to the EBC Canisius Fan Zone," Kochczynski said. "With this change, we hope to elevate our game day, including making it easier for all fans over 21-years-old to purchase and consume beer during home men's basketball games."

"The EBC X Canisius Fan Zone IPA is more than a can of beer. A portion of all sales goes directly to Canisius University Athletics.
