Golf Closes Out Second Round of Bucknell Invite

Sophomores Mike Takacs and Jake Dantonio each posted a score of 74 and senior Ryan Edholm carded a 75 as the Canisius golf team took part in the second round of the 2024 Bucknell Invitational Monday afternoon at the Bucknell Golf Course in Lewisburg, Pa.

Takacs' round featured a pair of birdies and an eagle-3 on the par-5 third hole. He is tied for 38th in the field after two rounds with his tournament score of 146 (72-74). Dantonio's 74 on Monday moved him into a tie for 45th, while Edholm leads Canisius with his two-round score of 145, which ties him for 26th out of 108 golfers.

As a team, Canisius posted a team score of 301 on Monday. The Golden Griffins are in 13th place, two strokes behind 12th place Wagner.

The third and final round of the 2024 Bucknell Invitational will tee off Tuesday at 9 a.m.
