Senior Dylan Vincent recorded his 100th career hit with a seventh-inning RBI single.

Junior Chris Pouliot earned his eighth victory after pitching five innings, allowing an unearned run on six hits. He walked four and struck out three. Sophomore Levi Abbott fanned three in his two innings of relief, with the lone hit allowed coming on a two-out triple in the seventh.

Canisius scored 12 unanswered runs from the fourth to seventh innings to take a 12-1 lead over the Red Foxes.

In the fourth, three consecutive run-scoring plays gave the Griffs a 4-1 lead. Henneman tied the game, 1-1, with a sacrifice fly. Junior Mike DeStefano singled home senior Kyle Kush before Grant increased the lead to 4-1 on a two-run home run hit to the right-center field bleachers.

After hitting a sacrifice fly in the inning prior, Henneman clubbed a three-run home run into the left-field bleachers giving Canisius a 7-1 lead in the fifth.

Krzeminski hit a two-run single in the sixth before sophomore Carlin Dick added a sacrifice fly later in the inning, increasing the Griffs' lead to 10-1.

Steffan singled home Henneman in the seventh to implement the 10-run rule. Vincent tacked on his RBI single to plate the 12th consecutive run scored by Canisius.

Head Coach Matt Mazurek's Postgame Comments
"Today was another strong day for our team as a whole. We started slow and were out of sorts at the plate early. We had to get our bearings and we really locked in. Our hitters locked in, committed to our plan and got the job done.

"The guys on the mound have been great. They have been locked in hitting spots, throwing all pitches for strikes, and competing. It has been fun to watch.

"With a quick turnaround, we need to catch our breath, get some rest to be ready to give it our best tomorrow!"
