Marist broke the scoreless contest in the fifth when Caroline Baratta served an 0-1 pitch up the middle to plate a pair.

The Golden Griffins cut the Red Foxes' lead in half on an RBI groundout from sophomore
Christie McGee-Ross to score graduate student Erin Hufford in the home half of the sixth.

Marist regained its two-run advantage in the final frame, courtesy of a sacrifice fly from Sam Freeland.

Kiley Myers kept the Canisius bats at bay, yielding just three hits while allowing a walk and hit by pitch.

Game 2 Recap

Marist's offense came alive right away in the second game as the visiting Red Foxes plated three runs in the first inning.

After scoring a run in the third, Marist crossed the plate three more times in the fourth when Baratta hit a three-run homer over the center field wall.
