Pitcher Georgina Corrick tossed a two-hitter, striking out 14 batters en route to the University of South Florida's 5-0 victory over Canisius Tuesday afternoon in collegiate softball action from the USF Softball Stadium in Tampa, Fla.
USF increases its record to 28-7 on the year, while Canisius slips below .500 for the first time this season (9-10).

USF's offense broke through in the home half of the fifth when catcher Josie Foreman connected on a one-out pitch, launching it over the right field wall to give the home team a 2-0 lead.
The Bulls' added to its lead in the sixth courtesy of a one-out RBI single by Meghan Sheehan.Â
In the next at-bat, Vivian Ponn hit a two-run blast, putting USF ahead by five runs.
In the circle for Canisius, Giese tossed her fifth complete game of the season, striking out four in the loss.
