FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
1. Canisius and Buffalo Square Off at KeyBank Center

After a week off for final exams, the Canisius men's basketball team returns to action Saturday evening when the Golden Griffins take on cross-town rival Buffalo at KeyBank Center in the final game of the Big 4 Basketball Tripleheader event. Game time is scheduled for 5 p.m. The contest will be streamed live through the Golden Griffin Broadcast Network and GoGriffs.com.

2. Series History vs. Buffalo
Saturday will mark the 53rd all-time meeting between Canisius and Buffalo in a series that dates back to the 1912-13 season. The Griffs lead the all-time series
32-20, but the Bulls enter this year's game riding a three-game win streak over the Blue and Gold.

3. Canisius in KeyBank Center
Saturday's game against Buffalo at KeyBank Center will mark the 49th time in program history where Canisius has played on the hardwood in the city's downtown arena. The Griffs are 29-19 all-time in the building. This game against Buffalo will be the fifth time in series history where these two cross-town rivals have squared off at KeyBank Center, and Canisius is 3-1 in the previous four contests. The last meeting between the Griffs and the Bulls at KeyBank Center came on Dec. 17, 2016. In that game, Canisius scored a 94-87 overtime victory over UB after former Griff Jermaine Crumpton dropped 30 points, the most points scored by a Canisius player in the building's history.

4. Fofana Feeling Generous
Senior Ahamadou Fofana
dished out a career-high eight assists in the Griffs' loss at Youngstown State Dec. 11. Those eight assists are the most for a Canisius player in a game since former Griff Malik Johnson had 11 assists against Quinnipiac on Jan. 31, 2020. Fofana enters Saturday's game averaging 3.2 assists per game, which ranks seventh-best in the MAAC.

5. No. 3 For Three
Senior Jordan Henderson enters Saturday's game as the program's active leader in career 3-point field goal makes with 98. In the game at Youngstown State Dec. 11, he drained a pair of 3-pointers, the 27th time in his career where he's made multiple 3-point field goals in a game.
