Five Things to Know
1. On the Road Again
The Canisius volleyball team begins a four-match road swing this weekend as it faces Iona and Manhattan in a pair of MAAC contests. The Blue and Gold travel to Iona Saturday afternoon before visiting Manhattan Sunday to close out the weekend.

2. Series History
The Griffs trail Iona by a 27-22 margin in the all-time series, with the most recents matchups occuring in the spring 2021 season. Canisius has won the previous four matchups with the Gaels. The Blue and Gold lead the all-time series versus Manhattan, 31-17. Canisius has defeated the Jaspers in eight of the past 10 matchups, highlighted by six consecutive victories.

3. Last Time Out
Canisius dropped both of its MAAC matchups last weekend as the Griffs played host to Fairfield and Quinnipiac. On Saturday, the Griffs were swept by defending regular-season champion Fairfield. To close out the weekend, Quinnipiac was able to get the best of Canisius, winning in four sets.

4. "Set"-ting the Stage
Senior setters Ashley Kekeisen and Callie Chamulak have handed out double-digit assists in four consecutive contests for the Blue and Gold. On Sunday versus Quinnipiac, Kekeisen recorded 25-plus assists for the eighth time in her career. Chamulak has registered 10-plus assists on six occasions this season.

5. Looking Ahead
Canisius hits the road again next weekend as the Blue and Gold travel to face Marist and Siena in MAAC play. The Griffs will face the Red Foxes in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., on Saturday afternoon before traveling to Loudonville, N.Y., to battle the Saints on Sunday.
