1. Hercules Tires MAAC Women's Basketball Championship
• For the first time in conference history the men's and women's basketball championship will be held at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J. The No. 11 Golden Griffins will play No. 6 Siena on Tuesday at 1:20 p.m. The game will be broadcasted live on ESPN3.

2. Sanderlin Named All-MAAC
• Junior Danielle Sanderlin was named to the All-MAAC Third Team Monday morning. It was the second time in the Williamstown, N.J., natives' career that she earned a postseason designation from the conference, as she was a member of the MAAC All-Rookie team as a freshman. Sanderlin averaged 15.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per conference game this season.

3. Postseason History vs. Siena
• The Blue and Gold have played Siena a total of three times in the MAAC postseason, with the last meeting between the two coming in the 2004 semifinals. Canisius won that game, 81-72, before falling to Marist in the title game by a final of 78-63. The Saints lead the postseason series, two games to one.

4. 18 and 8
• Sanderlin and redshirt-senior AJ Timbers paced the Canisius offense in its final game of the regular season, a 63-57 loss to Quinnipiac. Both forwards scored 18 points and collected eight rebounds. Sanderlin finished the game 8-for-19 from the field, while Timbers went 5-for-8 from the floor, including 3-for-6 from the perimeter.

5. The No. 11
• Canisius will enter the tournament as the 11 seed for the first time in program history. The lowest seed the Griffs have ever had at the MAAC Championship was the No. 10 seed in 1998.
