1. Sanderlin's Career Night
• Junior forward Danielle Sanderlin poured in a career-high 24 points Monday night against Niagara to go with 13 rebounds. It was the Williamstown, N.J., natives fourth double-double of the season, which ranks tied for fourth in the MAAC. Sanderlin scored 18 of her 24 points in the second half.

2. Conely Off the Bench
• Bethel Park, Pa., product Shannon Conely recorded a season-high 14 points off the bench against Niagara. Conely finished the game 6-for-8, after making her first five field goals. Prior to Monday, the senior hadn't reached double figures since Nov. 17, 2018 versus UTRGV.

3. Steak Comes to an End
• Senior D'Jhai Patterson-Ricks had her 18-game double-digit point streak come to an end Monday night in Lewiston, N.Y. Patterson-Ricks had posted 10 or more points in each game dating back to the Griffs MAAC quarterfinal game against Monmouth last season.

4. Steals vs. Saints
• The Blue and Gold forced 24 Saint turnovers in its Jan. 11 loss to the visiting Saints. Canisius had a season-high 12 steals led by senior Anna Sweny who recorded seven takeaways. The 24 turnovers by an opponent is the second most Canisius has forced this season.

5. Don't Let the Griffs Get Hot
• The Golden Griffins have yet to shoot over 50.0 percent from the field this season. Last year, Canisius was 3-2 overall when making at least half its shots and 2-0 when also making 50.0 percent of its 3-point field goals. The Griffs have only shot 50.0 percent or better from 3-point range five times this season despite having the league's second-best shooting percentage from the perimeter.
