Senior Shannon Conely added a season-high 14 points on 6-for-8 shooting. As a team, Canisius shot 35.5 percent from the field, including 21.4 percent from behind the arc. Canisius took a 33-29 lead into the break on the heels of a 21-point second quarter. From there, however, Niagara and Moore took control of the contest by starting the third on a 9-0 run to regain control, 37-33.

Niagara built its lead to 12 points, 60-48, by the end of the third quarter as Moore finished on a fast break with three seconds remaining in the frame. The home team outscored Canisius 32-15 in the third quarter.

The Niagara lead would continue to grow in the fourth quarter as Moore scored 14 of her 30 points in the final frame, including a run of six straight Purple Eagle baskets to keep Canisius at arm's length and hold for the 19-point win.

Head Coach Scott Hemer's Postgame Comments
"Basketball is a 40-minute game and for 20 minutes we played with a purpose and some determination. In the second half we came out, we got beat out for some loose balls and we gave up second-chance buckets and you're going to have a tough time winning games if that is where your effort levels are at."

Game Notes
• Monday night marked the 97th meeting between Canisius and Niagara. The Griffs are now 60-37 all-time against the Purple Eagles.
• Sanderlin's career-high 24 points surpassed her previous career-best of 20 points set earlier this season. The Williamstown, N.J., native also grabbed 13 caroms, her 11th career-double-digit rebounding game.
• Senior Anna Sweny finished the game with five assists, one shy of her career-high.
• Conely reached double-digits for the first time this season and fourth time in her career.
