Five Things to Know - Women's Basketball Hosts Saint Peter's for Dad's and Daughter's Dollar Day

1. Dad's and Daughter's Dollar Day
• Canisius will host its annual Dad's and Daughter's Dollar Day during Saturday's women's basketball game versus Saint Peter's. Tickets, along with concessions and select merchandise are priced at 1 dollar. The first 150 girls in attendance will receive a Canisius women's basketball water bottle. 
 
2. Canisius' Dominance over Saint Peter's
• The Golden Griffins hold a 13-game win streak over Saint Peter's heading into Saturday's contest and are 17-3 overall in the last 20 meetings with the team from Jersey City. At home, Canisius has a six-game win streak over the Peacocks and a 17-11 overall record in the Koessler Athletic Center.
 
3. Patterson-Ricks Goes for 25
• Thursday night, senior D'Jhai Patterson-Ricks scored a team-high 25 points. It was the sixth time this season that the Fayetteville, N.Y., native recorded 20-plus points in a single game while also leading the team in scoring for the 12th time.   
 
4. Free Throw Shooting
• Canisius made a season-high 22-of-29 attempts at the charity stripe against Rider. The 22 made shots at the line surpassed the teams previous high of 20 made against Colgate back in November. Patterson-Ricks made 12 of the Golden Griffins 22 shots at the free throw line.  
 
5. Forcing Turnovers
• The Blue and Gold have forced a combined 35 turnovers in its last two home games, including a season-high 24 versus Siena (Jan. 11) and 19 Thursday night against Rider. The trio of junior Danielle Sanderlin, along with seniors Anna Sweny and Patterson-Ricks has combined for 15 steals in the last two home games.
