1. One and Done
• Friday nights matchup between the Golden Griffins and Saints will be the lone game between the two teams during the 2018-19 regular-season. Canisius and Siena split the season series last year, with the Griffs taking the first game, 65-57, and the Saints coming out on top, 68-59, in game two. Siena has a 7-3 advantage in the last ten meetings between the two programs.
 
2. Home Cooking
• Canisius is 4-2 at home in MAAC play this season and 5-7 overall at the Koessler Athletic Center. At home, the Griffs have a field goal percentage of 39.4 percent and 3-point field goal percentage of 35.7. Senior Sara Hinriksdottir averages 13.5 points per game at home compared to just 12.5 on the road. During Canisius last home victory versus Iona, Hinriksdottir dropped a season-high 20 points.
 
3. Patterson-Ricks' Strong Fourth Quarter
• Canisius junior D'Jhai Patterson-Ricks came off the bench for the first time this season. In the fourth quarter, Patterson-Ricks scored a team-high 11 points, highlighted by seven points at the charity stripe. The Fayetteville, N.Y., native also recorded three assists and two steals in the Griffs comeback attempt.
 
4. Coming on of Late
• Canisius junior Tiana Pugh and sophomore Anndea Zeigler have amped up their offensive production over the last ten games. Pugh is averaging 8.1 points per contest, while Zeigler is scoring 7.0 points per game. Combined the two are 51-for-114 from the field and 15-for-38 from three in the last ten games. Pugh and Zeigler have also made an impact on the defensive end, tallying 12 total blocks.
 
5. Forgetting the Road Trip
• Canisius struggled offensively on its most recent road trip where they failed to grab a win. Over the four games, Canisius could only muster 54.4 points, while allowing its opponents to score 70.0 points per game. From the field, the Blue and Gold shot just 36.6 percent, including a 17.4 percent mark from 3-point land.
