1. 32nd Annual Hatter Classic
• Canisius is one of four teams heading to DeLand, Fla., for Stetson's 32nd Annual Hatter Classic. The Griffs will play two games, first against the host Stetson Thursday at 1 p.m., followed by a tilt with the Mountaineers of Appalachian State Friday at 1 p.m.

2. The Sunshine State
• This trip will be the Golden Griffins first trip to Florida since the 2003-04 season when Canisius took on South Florida and Stetson during its visit to the Sunshine State.

3. Series History with the Hatters
• Canisius and Stetson have squared-off with one another on two different occasions, with the Griffs coming out on top both times. The first meeting opened the 2002-03 season, when Canisius defeated the Hatters 104-68 in a neutral site game in Ypsilanti, Mich. One year later, the Blue and Gold went down to DeLand, Fla., and defeated Stetson, 70-59, on its home court.

4. New Foe
• Canisius and Appalachian State will meet for the first time in their respective histories on Friday afternoon. The Mountaineers arrive in Florida with a 2-6 overall record and will play Bethune-Cookman Thursday afternoon.

5. Patterson-Ricks Named MAAC Student-Athlete of the Week
• Senior guard D'Jhai Patterson-Ricks has been the Griffs offensive leader to start the 2019-20 campaign. The Fayetteville, N.Y., native has reached double-digit scoring numbers in each of Canisius' first six games, highlighted by five-straight contests with 15 or more points. On the season, she ranks third in the MAAC in scoring (18.5 ppg) and 3-pointers made (2.6), while also ranking second in 3-point field goal percentage (48.1) and fifth in free-throw percentage (87.0).
