Five Things to Know Before Canisius Hosts Bucknell
1. Back on Main Street
• The Canisius men's basketball team will open the home portion of its 2019-20 schedule Saturday night when the Golden Griffins take on Bucknell in the Koessler Athletic Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. Saturday's game marks the 28th time in program history where the team has played its home opener in the Koessler Athletic Center.

2. Majesty Makes His Mark
• Junior Majesty Brandon scored a team-high 19 points in the Griffs' road loss at Albany on Wednesday. He also grabbed five rebounds to go with a steal and a blocked shot. Through his first two games in a Canisius uniform, the Bronx, N.Y., native is averaging 13.0 points per game, which ranks second on the team bheind senior Malik Johnson and his 16.5 points per game scoring average.

3. Johnson Keeps Stealing
• Senior Malik Johnson recorded two more steals in the Griffs' loss at Albany, the 37th time in his career he's posted two-or-more steals in a game. The Richmond, Va., native enters Saturday's game ranked 11th in school history with 144 career assists, three shy of passing former Griff Darnell Wilson for 10th all-time.

4. The Rebounding Dutchman
•
Freshman Jacco Fritz
has grabbed six rebounds in each of his first two games as a Griff after he had six boards Wednesday at Albany. The Tiel, Netherland native is the first Canisius freshman with five-or-more rebounds in in his two career games since former Griff Elton Frazier in 2007-08.

2. Henderson Returns
• Sophomore Jordan Henderson returned to the Griffs' line-up at Albany after missing the season-opener following offseason knee surgery. The Cincinnati, Ohio native wasted little time getting back into the swing of things, as he posted eight points, two assists and two steals in a career-high 30 minutes of action off the bench.
