Hockey Announces Captains for 2018-19 Season

Canisius hockey head coach Trevor Large has announced that senior Ian Edmondson has been named captain for the 2018-19 season.

In addition, fellow seniors Cameron Heath, Dylan McLaughlin and Jimmy Mazza have been chosen to serve as assistant captains for the upcoming campaign.

"This year, our leadership group is special," Large said. "Each of them possesses a belief in what it means to be a Griff. I believe in who they are as people and I know they will drive our team success.  Ian will lead the way as captain and he will lean on the rest of the team to lead when they are called upon. Protecting our culture is everything and I know our captains will be positive, competitive and team-first."
