2. Griffs on Fire from 3-point Land
• In the last four games, Canisius has made 28-of-84 3-point field goal attempts, compared to just 19-of-84 in the first four games of the season. During the stretch, senior Sara Hinriksdottir leads the team with eight makes from deep, followed by juniors D'Jhai Patterson-Ricks and Tiana Pugh, who have made seven and four, respectively.

• Canisius has recorded 24 blocks on the season, tied for fourth best in the MAAC. Hinriksdottir has a team-high eight blocks through eight games, while Pugh and sophomore Anndea Zeigler have recorded five apiece thus far. Against Buffalo, Canisius recorded a season-high six rejections as a team, led by freshman Erika Joseph who had three.

4. Sanderlin is Missed
• Canisius has played the last six games without sophomore forward Danielle Sanderlin. The Williamstown, N.J., native led the Griffs attack on the glass through the first two games, grabbing 14.5 rebounds per contest. The sophomore also collected a double-double in the season opener against Miami (Ohio) with 12 points and 11 boards. Without her presence in the lineup Canisius has only out-rebounded its opponents twice in the last six games.
