Pacific held a 36-29 advantage on the glass and turned 18 Canisius turnovers into 18 points.

The Tigers took control of the game from the start, hitting on three-straight 3-point attempts in the game's first 1:25 to take a 9-3 lead. Pacific led by as many as 22 in the first half and saw its lead balloon to 26 with 16:38 left in regulation time. Canisius mounted a comeback attempt and got within a dozen at 61-49 thanks to an 18-4 run over the span of 6:25. In that scoring run, Crumpton accounted for 10 of the Griffs' points, but Pacific squashed any comeback attempt by scoring six-straight points in the span of 48 seconds to make the score 67-49 in favor of the Tigers with 8:13 left on the clock.

For their efforts in the four-game Men Against Breast Cancer Showcase, Crumpton and sophomore Isaiah Reese were named to the All-Tournament Team, with Reese earning co-MVP accolades. Crumpton averaged 16.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game while shooting 53.3 percent from the field, 31.3 percent from 3-point land and 92.9 percent from the free-throw line. Head Coach Reggie Witherspoon's Postgame Comments
"When you lose the rebounding battle and you turn it over more than your opponent, you more than likely going to struggle to win the game. We came in with a good game plan to try and slow [Pacific] down, but they got some quick threes to start and our guys tried to force it offensively. Pacific is looking to put stress on your transition defense, and ours wasn't very good today. They moved a lot faster than we did and it ended up forcing us to play a style we are not comfortable with yet."

Game Notes
• This was the third meeting between these two programs, and Sunday's game was the first played at Pacific. Canisius leads the series 2-1.

• Crumpton's 21 points matches a season high, and it marks the 16th time in his career where he's scored 20-or more points in a game.
• Johnson's nine assists Sunday gives him 40 for the season, and 188 in his career in just 41 games.
• Sophomore Spencer Foley had six points on the power of two makes from 3-point land, giving him multiple 3-point field goals in five games this season.
