Shane Conacher and Ralph Cuddemi of the Canisius College hockey team both collected All-Atlantic Hockey honors on Wednesday. Conacher becomes just the second forward in the program's history to earn first-team all-conference accolades, while Cuddemi was named to the All-Atlantic Hockey Second Team for the second-straight season.

A junior, Conacher leads the Griffs in points, goals and assists during the 2015-16 campaign, ranking ninth nationally with 45 points, 11th with 20 goals and 17th with 25 assists. His 45 points currently rank as the third most in the program's Division I history, while the junior also established a new school record with six game-winning tallies – the most in Atlantic Hockey this season.

Conacher joins his brother, Cory, as the only Griff forwards to be named to the All Atlantic Hockey First Team with Cory accomplishing the feat during 2009-10 campaign.

A senior captain, Cuddemi ranks second on the team in points and goals. He currently places 21st in the nation with 40 points, 15th with 19 goals and 11th with seven power-play tallies.

One of the best to wear the Blue and Gold, Cuddemi places fifth in the program's record book with 121 career points, second with 60 career goals and second with 23 career power-play goals. He is just the third Griff to collect all-conference honors twice during his career – joining Carl Hudson (2008-09 and 2009-10) and Cory Conacher (2009-10 and 2010-11).

Conacher, Cuddemi and the Griffs continue their season in the Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinals this weekend with a best 2-of-3 series at second-seeded Air Force. The schools begin the playoff contests on Friday at 9:05 p.m. ET in Colorado.
