Quotes from Canisius coach Jim Baron
"Give Siena credit. We allowed them to get open looks and they made shots. That's a veteran group that plays well together and they're tough to beat here in this building."

"We were not crisp on offense, we didn't defend and we let them crash the boards. [Siena] is a good team, and when you play good teams, you need to be ready to go. We need to man up. We need guys to start playing hard all the time."

"We had guys in the right positions, we knew what they were going to do, and we just didn't get it done tonight. We have a handful of games left to go before we're back here for the [MAAC] Tournament. We need to start playing with some emotion and take pride in what we're doing here."

Additional Game Notes:
• This was the 96th all-time meeting between these two schools, with Siena leading the series 53-43.
• The win for Siena gives the Saints a regular-season sweep of Canisius for the first time since the 2011-12 season. It also ended the Griffs' two-game winning streak over the Saints in the Times Union Center.
• Robertson has now scored 10-plus points in a game 21 times this season.
• Thursday marks the first time Gurley has led the team in rebounding in is career.
