The Blue and Gold were able to knot the game at 1-1 after the Jaspers took the first frame, however Manhattan took control in the third, earning a 25-15 victory. Canisius pushed hard in the fourth but Manhattan denied the Griffs the fifth set, winning 25-23.

Thoughts From Coach Vazquez
As I ride back to Buffalo, I find myself grateful for this team,” head coach Lenika Vazquez said. “This season they learned how to fight for each other and that it is a continued effort each and every day. Today they supported each other in a way that inevitably would build into a championship team, however we ran out of time this year. I hope the seniors leave this program knowing they contributed to building something at Canisius. This is a bit sentimental, but at this point of the year it's more than just about numbers”

Game Notes:
• The Griffs drop the 41st contest between the two teams and now leads 25-16.

Cassidy Ceriani finishes the year with 14 double-dobules and the team's first triple-double since 2004.
Katlyn Tyler's double-double today, gave her 12 for her final campaign.
