The Canisius women's soccer team came to a 0-0 draw in double overtime against the Binghamton Bearcats Friday night, moving their record to 1-1-2 on the year.
For the second straight game, the Golden Griffins ended play with a tie in double overtime.
Kalie DeFranks continued her strong play for the Griffs, as she shutout the Bearcats on 16 shots.
DeFranks has played every minute of the past two games, allowing only one goal. On the year, DeFranks holds a 1.18 goals against average, with a .828 save percentage.
Ronja Gustaffson and Brittany Krause each had two shots for Canisius, while Melanie Linsmair recorded one.
The Golden Griffins next game will be Sunday at the Demske Sports Complex, when they face Buffalo at 12 p.m.
