Box Score The Canisius volleyball team bounced back with a four-set win over Manhattan College in the Koessler Athletic Center on Saturday afternoon. The Golden Griffins won 28-26, 16-25, 25-16, 27-25 and ended the Jaspers' six-match winning streak.
Four Golden Griffins had at least 12 kills on the day, led by the ninth double-double (14 kills, 17 digs) of the year from junior Rachel Kline. Fellow junior Grace Streicher also had a double-double with 45 assists and 10 digs.

“That was a really emotional match today, and we kind of lost our way in that second set,” Canisius coach Cathy Hummel said. “I'm proud of the way we regrouped multiple times throughout this match and a number of people stepped up at various points.”
The first set featured 19 ties and nine lead changes. Manhattan won the first three points of the match, but neither team would lead by more than two points the rest of the way. A kill from Siebert fought off a set point and made it 25-25. After the teams traded sideouts, kills from Streicher and Tyler put the set away.
