Half-Court Shot Named No. 1 Play On SportsCenter

The half-court buzzer beater from freshman Tiahana Mills was named the No. 1 play in the Top Plays segment on ESPN's SportsCenter on Friday. Mills drained the half-court shot to give the Canisius women's basketball team a 65-62 win over Siena College on Kid's Day in the Koessler Athletic Center in the conference opener for both teams.

Mills' shot is the seventh time in the last six years that Canisius athletics has earned a spot in the Top 10 segment on SportsCenter. Former men's basketball player Elton Frazier was on the Top 10 four times while former men's lacrosse player Jim Haney and men's soccer player Andrew Incho each made the Top 10 once.
