Canisius College Athletics, in conjunction with WYRK, has announced its winner in the 2011-12 Fam Slam competition which took place throughout the basketball season.

WYRK Country Club members were encouraged to attend six games during the season. At each of those contests a "code" word was featured both inside and outside the arena. Fans then submitted the "code" word to WYRK and a drawing was held at the end of Canisius' basketball season to determine the winner.

This year's winner is Maureen Hurysz of Buffalo. Maureen, pictured with her husband and son, both named Mike, received a Golden Griffin fan pack, which included 2012-13 season tickets and Golden Griffin gear - head to toe.
