Canisius University Athletics

Ryan Asis is in his third season on the coaching staff for the Golden Griffins and in his fifth year associated with the Golden Griffin baseball program.

Asis spent the 2007 and 2008 seasons at Canisius after spending two seasons at University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. With the Golden Griffins, Asis played in 89 games, making 72 starts. He posted a .308 batting average in the two seasons, including a .336 batting average as a senior. Asis had 88 hits, 15 doubles, 45 RBIs and a .383 on-base percentage with 13 stolen bases. Asis had 25 multi-hit games and 12 multi-RBI games in his career. As a senior, Asis was named to the 2008 MAAC All-Academic Team.

Asis graduated from Canisius in 2008 with a degree in physical education and is pursuing his Master's Degree in Sport Administration.
