Sarah Galante

Sarah Galante enters her second year as an assistant women's soccer coach at Canisius College. A 2011 graduate of the College, Galante completed her bachelor's degree in physical education and health. She is currently pursuing her master's of sport administration at Canisius.

A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Galante played four seasons for the Golden Griffins. Galante was a part of a senior class that combined to win a program-record 45 games in their four years, while appearing in three consecutive MAAC Tournaments and advancing to the 2010 MAAC Championship Game.

In her senior year, the Griffs recorded its best overall record (14-7-0) and conference record (7-2-0) in program history. The team also earned it's first MAAC Regular Season Championship, as the Blue and Gold held the conference's best record and appeared in the championship round in the 2010 Chick-Fil-A MAAC Tournament for only the second time in school history.

In addition to her coaching responsibilities at Canisius, Galante coaches the U-13 Orchard Park Select soccer team.
