Sally Rozumalski enters her first season as an assistant coach on the Canisius rowing team. Rozumalski joined the program in October 2020.
Rozumalski has multiple years of coaching experience already on her resume. She helped the West Side Rowing Club’s Novice 8 to a second-place finish in the 2019 New York State Championships and the Under-15 4+ to a gold medal in the U17/U15 Nationals. She has coached at the West Side Rowing Club since March 2018.
She also has rowed for the West Side Rowing Club, serving as a member of the Under-23 4+ in the summer of 2019 with former Griffs captain Emma Vicaretti. The boat had an additional Canisius connection, as it was coached by current Griffs assistant coach Matt Cosmann.
Rozumalski was a member of Louisville’s rowing team for parts of two seasons before transferring to the University at Buffalo where she earned her bachelor’s of science in business administration with minors in marketing and computer information systems.
