Canisius University Athletics

Perry Silverman is in his second season as an assistant coach at Canisius after spending four years playing for the Golden Griffins.

Silverman had his best season as a senior, hitting .315 with 74 runs scored, 47 RBI and 14 stolen bases. The Montreal, Quebec native set a MAAC record and ranking 22^nd in the country with the 74 runs scored. Silverman was named to the 2010 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District I First Team as well as to the All-MAAC Second Team.

Silverman graduated from Canisius in 2010 with a degree in communications and is pursuing his Master's Degree in Sport Administration.
