Noah Segall

Noah Segall is in his first year as Director of Hockey Operations at Canisius College. Among his responsibilities with the Griffs, Segall works directly with the coaches on practice and game evaluation and player skill development, while coordinating the team’s video efforts.

An experienced professional with a number of ties from the National Hockey League to college, Segall joins the Canisius staff after serving two years as a strength and conditioning analyst with the San Jose Sharks. During his time with the NHL franchise, Segall was involved in the on-ice and off-ice training of NHL and AHL players as well as the Sharks’ prospect camp in addition to various analytical work.

The Los Gatos, Calif. native also spent one season as an assistant to the coaching staff of the AHL’s Worcester Sharks, managing the team’s video operations during the 2012-13 season. In addition, Segall has spent the past two summers coaching at Pavel Datsyuk’s PD13 Hockey School in Yekaterinburg, Russia, while working with the University of Massachusetts hockey program during the 2011-12 campaign.

A dual major in sport management and economics, Segall earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2014. He graduated with honors from the Hockey East school and was named the Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management Top Senior.
