Megan Giese is in her first year as a graduate assistant in the external affairs department at Canisius.
Giese's primary responsibility is gameday production and fan experience, which includes designing and implementing marketing, sales and promotion strategies. She also helps to engage fans and raise awareness of Canisius athletics while increasing ticket sales.
A four-year member of the Golden Griffins' softball program, Giese helped lead Canisius to a pair of MAAC regular-season titles and the 2022 MAAC Softball Championship. A two-time MAAC Pitcher of the Year and a three-time All-MAAC First Team selection, Giese finished her collegiate career with the second most strikeouts in program history, fanning 653 batters in just 578 innings pitched.
A native of Buffalo, Giese graduated from Canisius with her undergraduate degree in physical education/health education. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in sport administration from the University.
