Greg Fargo

Fargo enters his second year on the Canisius College hockey staff. He coaches the team?s goaltenders and assists with the day-to-day operations of the program, including recruiting, video operations, academics, community outreach and other on-campus duties. A 2006 graduate of Elmira College with a degree in adolescent education, the 24-year-old Fargo played in 88 games for the Soaring Eagles, posting a 45-29-9 career record. During his senior season, the Kingston, Ont. native recorded the lowest goals against average (2.04) and highest save percentage (.926) in school history. He also became the school?s leader in career saves (2,565) and minutes played (5122:53). Elmira advanced to the NCAA Division III Final Four during his senior season and NCAA quarterfinals during his freshman season. The Soaring Eagles won the ECAC West tournament title in Fargo?s freshman and senior seasons. Fargo was named the ECAC West Tournament Most Outstanding Player as a senior.
