Erin Cavanaugh

Erin Cavanaugh joins Canisius for her first year as a graduate assistant in external affairs. In her role, Erin will manage marketing initiatives for the hockey and volleyball programs.

Prior to Canisius, Erin earned her degree in journalism from Auburn University in May of 2025. At Auburn, she served as head of staff with the club hockey team, overseeing logistics and team operations. Cavanaugh also worked in the ticket office and communicatios department.

A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Erin is pursuing her master's degree in sport administration.
