Cameron Smith enters his first year as a graduate assistant with Athletic Communications at Canisius. He serves as the primary contact for the Golden Griffins’ men’s soccer, cross country/track, and softball programs.
Smith graduated from Daemen University in 2025 with a major in sport management and a minor in marketing.
In his senior year, he most recently served as a Public Relations Intern for the Buffalo Sabres for the 2024-25 season while studying at Daemen.
Smith also serves as an Athletic Communications Assistant at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, where he specializes in social media and website content as well as gameday operations.
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Cameron is pursuing his master’s degree in sport administration.
