Cameron Smith enters his second year as a graduate assistant with Athletic Communications at Canisius. He serves as the primary contact for the Golden Griffins’ men’s soccer, cross country/track, swimming and diving, and women's lacrosse programs.

Smith graduated from Daemen University in 2025 with a major in sport management and a minor in marketing.

In his senior year, he most recently served as a Public Relations Intern for the Buffalo Sabres during the 2024-25 season while studying at Daemen.

Smith also serves as an Athletic Communications Assistant at St. Joseph’s Collegiate Institute, where he specializes in social media and website content as well as gameday operations.

A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Cameron is pursuing his master’s degree in sport administration.
