Taylor Kenney joined the Canisius athletic training department as a graduate assistant in 2020 before being promoted to assistant athletic trainer in 2021. She works primarily with the Golden Griffin women's soccer and women's basketball programs.
Prior to joining the Canisius staff, Kenney served as an undergraduate athletic training student at Cortland, where she worked directly with the school's football, men's and women's soccer and field hockey programs. She also spent the 2019 lacrosse season working with Cornell's men's lacrosse team, where she covered practices and worked both home and road games for the Big Red.
A certified COVID-19 contact tracer, Kenney graduated from Cortland in December 2019 with her bachelor's degree in athletic training. A Dean's List and President's List student at Cortland from 2017-19, she was honored with the Cortland Athletic Training Club Peer Recognition Award in the spring of 2019. Kenney earned her master's degree from Canisius in May 2022 in health and human performance, with a specific track in strength and conditioning.
