Before Canisius: Played four seasons at Hopewell Valley... Named team’s Defensive Most Valuable Player in 2003... Led team to Colonia Valley Conference Patriot Division championship in 2003... Member of Central Jersey Group III semi-finalist team in 2003... Also played basketball for the Bulldogs.

Personal: The daughter of Joan and Mark Reading, Lauren is a biology major at Canisius... Has one brother, Greg.
