Joining Dougherty on the sidelines and working with the forwards and midfielders will be third-year assistant coach Nicole Olszewski.
A four-year letterwinner at the University at Buffalo, Olszewski scored 20 goals and added 25 assists for 65 points in 77 career games with the Bulls. She was tied for second on the Bulls? squad in scoring her senior season with 15 points and led the Bulls in scoring her sophomore season with seven goals and six assists for 20 points. Olszewski scored a career-high two goals and three assists against Akron in 2001.
A Lancaster, N.Y. native, Olszewski was a five-year letterwinner at Lancaster High School, scoring 29 goals her senior season and finished her career with 90 goals. Olszewski was a first team ECIC Division I All-Star selection and was named to the All-Western New York squad. Olszewski earned her bachelor?s degree in mathematics from UB in 2004. She is pursuing a master?s degree in secondary education from Canisius.
