Andy Siviy

Andy Siviy is entering his second season as an assistant coach on the Canisius women’s soccer staff. As a former assistant coach with the Buffalo State men’s soccer program, Siviy brings a wide variety of knowledge to Ryan Louis’ first coaching staff, with a primary focus on goalkeeping.

As an assistant coach at Buffalo State, Siviy played a key role with day-to-day operations within the program, including practice planning, opponent scouting and recruiting. In his time with the Bengals, he oversaw the development of multiple All-SUNYAC players over the course of three seasons, highlighted by All-SUNYAC First Team selection Andreas Queen in 2017 and 2019. Siviy was a part of the Buffalo State staff that helped guide the 2019 Bengals to a 15-4 overall record, a win total that matched the school’s single-season victories record.

The Webster, N.Y., native also serves as the youth head coach, and goalkeeping coach, for the Western New York Flash Soccer Academy. For the WNY Flash, Siviy was the head coach for the 2007/2008 Red Team, and oversaw the goalkeeping of all youth levels within the program.

Siviy played collegiately at the University at Buffalo, where he earned his undergraduate degree in economics in 2017. In 2019, he earned his master’s degree in adolescent social studies education from UB.
