Biography

2003: Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team... Started in all 12 games for the Blue and Gold in the midfield... Scored a career-high four goals in 2003... Had a goal in the first two games of the year against Niagara and at Gannon... Took eight shots on goal... Had a career best 19 ground balls and forced five turnovers.

2002: Saw action in all 14 games for the Griffs... Scored her first collegiate goal in win over St. Francis, Pa. (3/17)... Scooped up seven ground balls... Was credited with five caused turnovers.

Before Canisius: Was a four-year letter winner from nearby Lancaster High School... Selected to the ECIC All-Star game after her senior season... Named first-team All-ECIC after her junior year.

Personal: The daughter of Ron and Mary Jo Balducci, Gina is a secondary education major with a minor in mathematics at Canisius... Also played field hockey and gymnastics at Lancaster High.
