Biography

2003: Played in nine games in her rookie season... Scored her first collegiate goal in a 12-7 loss to Gannon April 27... Was credited with one assist and finished the season with two points, one of four Canisius freshmen to be credited with points scored... Had two ground balls and two free-position attempts.

Before Canisius: Was a two-year letter winner in lacrosse at West Seneca West... Team MVP and captain senior year... Was also a cheerleader and earned ECIC All-Star recognition as well as being named a NCA All-American.

Personal: The daughter of Kevin and Sandy Shade, Emily is an elementary education major at Canisius.

Born: August 2, 1984.
