Former women’s lacrosse standout Paige Stachura was named the director of corporate partnerships at Canisius in September 2024.
In her role, Stachura oversees the management of the department’s corporate sponsorship program with emphasis on the development and implementation of relationships with local and regional businesses to maximize revenue and increase exposure for Canisius while also providing value to the corporate partners. She also assists the department with other revenue generation and promotional efforts, including program marketing, ticket sales, partnership and fundraising events.
A native of Orillia, Ontario, Stachura was a five-year member of the Golden Griffins women’s lacrosse program. A two-time All-MAAC First Team selection, she finished her collegiate career ranked eighth in program history for career goals (135) and sixth for career draw controls (168).
In addition to her work on the field, Stachura served as a business development intern with the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits during the 2023-24 season. With the Sabres and Bandits, Stachura assisted in sponsor promotions and contest fulfillment while also working with the activation team to ensure all partnership assets were executed. She also assisted with inventory management and fulfillment of signage within KeyBank Center and generated ideas to enhance activations and marketing campaigns for the team’s corporate sponsors.
A four-time MAAC All-Academic Team member, Stachura is a two-time graduate of Canisius, receiving her bachelor’s in sport management and her master’s in sport administration from the University.
