2005: Named to MAAC All-Academic Team... Started 13-of-14 games on defense... Posted 12 ground balls and two caused turnovers... Also had three draw controls.
2004: Played in 11 games and made 10 starts... Took one shot... Was credited with 11 ground balls, five caused turnovers and two draw controls.
2003: Played in 10 games... Was credited with five ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Before Canisius: Lettered for four years in ice hockey at Hershey High... Was team MVP and captain two years... Also won two letters in softball.
Personal: The daughter of Mike and Janis Foligno, Cara is an elementary education major at Canisius... Her father played 15 years in the NHL, spending 10 of those with the Buffalo Sabres and was inducted into the Sabres Hall of Fame in November of 2005... Sister, Lisa, also plays women’s lacrosse at Canisius.
