2010-11 • Junior
• Set school records in the 50 and 100 freestyle.
• Part of three relay teams to break school records, including the 400 and 800 freestyle, and 200 and 400 medley.
• Set the Koessler Athletic Center Pool record in the 100 backstroke.
• Part of the 400 medley relay team to break the Koessler Athletic Center Pool record.
• Captured fourth place in 200 back at MAAC Championship, setting a personal best.
• Finished fifth in the 100 backstroke at MAAC Championship, a personal best.
• Sixth-place finish in the 50 freestyle at the MAAC Championship, a personal best.
• Finished third in the 50 freestyle versus Niagara.
• First-place finish in the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke at Gannon.
• Finished in first place in the 100 backstroke versus St. Bonaventure.
• At the City College’s meet, finished first in the 100 backstroke.

2009-10 • Sophomore
• Finished first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 53.32 against Boston College.
• Set three new school records in the 50-yard freestyle (21.36), 100-yard (50.70) backstroke, and 200-backstroke (1:54.58).
• Finished first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 53.32 against Boston College.

2008-09 • Freshman
• Finished forth in the MAAC in the 100 backstroke with a time of 52.85, resetting the school record by two secondsHis best time of 1:59.19 against Niagara set the school record in the 200 backstroke.
• Also swam the 50 free, competing in 22.11 at the Western New York Invitational for a personal-best time.
• At the same meet, swam a 48.70 in the 100 freestyle.
• Named Rookie of the Year by the team.

Before Canisius:
• Earned six varsity letters for the Spartans.
• Awarded the scholar athlete award from 2005-2008.
• Holds the records at Starpoint in the 100, 200, and 500 freestyle, as well as in the 100 backstroke and 200 free relay and 400 medley relay.
• Was a state qualifier and team MVP for three consecutive years.
• Earned most improved swimmer in 2006.

• Son of Stephen and Catherine Pochatko.
• Has two sisters, Mackenzie and Brittanie.
• His uncle, David, also attended Canisius.
• Born on May 7, 1990.
• Majoring in psychology.
