Biography
2005-06: Fastest on the team in the 1,000 freestyle (11:24.36), 1,650 freestyle (19:01.52) and 500 freestyle (5:35.18). Missed the MAACs due to an illness. Swam the anchor leg of the team's best effort in the 400 medley relay (4:25.20), which came against Shippensburg. Won the 1,000 freestyle four times and 500 freestyle once. Part of three first-place and two second-place relays.
Before Canisius: Four-year letterwinner at Buffalo Seminary, two-time school MVP, won the Coaches' Award, held two school records.
Personal: Daughter of James Giammaresi and Kathleen Hanley. Has a younger sister named Emma. Father and grandfather attended Canisius.
