2003-04: First place 100-meter breaststroke at Duquesne (10-11-03) with a time of 1:15.08. Member of third place 400-meter medley relay team at Duquesne (10-11-03) with a time of 4:29.56. Second place 200-meter breaststroke at St. Bonaventure (11-01-03) with a time of 2:47.36. Member of third place 400-meter medley team at St. Bonaventure (11-01-03) with a time of 4:28.93. Second place 200-meter breaststroke at Niagara (11-08-03) with a time of 2:44.12. Member of second place 400-meter medley relay team at Niagara (11-08-03) with a time of 4:28.22. First place 200-meter breaststroke at Iona (12-06-03) with a time of 2:45.96. Member of second place 400-meter medley relay team at Iona (12-06-03) with a time of 4:35.66. First place 100-meter breaststroke at Youngstown State (01-31-04) with a time of 1:17.46. Member of second place 400-meter medley relay team at Youngstown State (01-31-04) with a time of 4:17.55.

Before Canisius: Competed for Kenmore East High School for four seasons, earning three letters. Swam for the Tonawanda Titans club team. Also ran hurdles for track and field for the Bulldogs.

Personal: Melissa is a secondary education/mathematics major at Canisius and the daughter of Mike and Judy Trometer.
