2004-05: Swam a 28.79 in the 50 free and a 2:44.63 in the 200 fly against Iona (12-4-04). Posted a 31.43 in the 50 fly and a 1:10.78 in the 100 IM against Manhattan (11-12-04). Swam a 1:08.27 in the 100 fly and a 2:31.13 in the 200 IM against Saint Peter's (1-29-05). Named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.

2003-04: Won 100-meter breaststroke at Loyola (10-18-03) meet with time of 1:18.41. Member of third place 200-meter medley team at Loyola (10-18-03) with time of 2:03.59. Finished third in 200-meter butterfly at St. Bonaventure (11-01-03) with time of 2:47.43. Finished third in 200-meter butterfly at Iona (12-06-03) with a time of 2:42.97. Member of 400-meter freestyle relay team that finished first at Iona 12-06-03 with time of 4:10.29. Finished third in 200-meter IM at Youngstown State (01-31-04) with a time of 2:33.96. Finished second in 100-meter breaststroke at Youngstown State (01-31-04) with a time of 1:19.54. Member of 400-meter medley relay team that finished second at Youngstown State (01-31-04) with a time of 4:17.55.

Before Canisius: Four-year letterwinner in swimming at Ithaca High School. Academic All-American in 2002.

Personal: The daughter of James and Ann Fowler. Laura is a physical education major at Canisius. On the SAAC Committee. Enjoys water polo, photography and music. Sister Jamie attends Canisius. Also has a younger sister named Katie.
