Before Canisius: Two-year letterwinner at Lockport... Named to the All-American Academic swim team in 2004... Finished eighth at the Section VI Championships in the 200-meter relay.

Personal: The son of David and Melissa Petrie... Has two brothers named Corey and Mark... Eric is a biology major studying pre-med at Canisius.
