2006-07: Cut more than a second and a half off his time in the 50 free (25.53) at the MAAC Championships... Had three season-best times at the conference meet for the second consecutive year... Knocked off more than a second off his time in the 100 free (57.82) and more than five seconds in the 200 free (2:06.79)
2005-06: Swam three season-bests at the MAACs, which came in the 100 freestyle (57.30), 50 freestyle (26.24) and 200 freestyle (2:11.25)... Took fourth in 100 free four times... Member of two second-place relays
2004-05: Member of first place 200-yard freestyle relay team against VMI and Old Dominion Oct. 23 with a time of 1:47.66?Swam a 1:02.10 in 100 free against Manhattan... Finished first in 50 free with time of 51.11 against Iona Dec. 4... Took third in 200 freestyle against Saint Peter's Jan. 29
Before Canisius: Varsity letterwinner in swimming, baseball and golf at Kenmore East... Named a Scholar-Athlete in all three sports
Personal: The son of Larry and Debbie Jefferys... Has a brother, Dan... Dave is an accounting major at Canisius
